How to Join ViaBTC: Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners
Visit the official website or download ViaBTC Mobile App in AppStore or Google Play.
Click on “Sign Up” and enter your email address and get Verification code. Enter the code to verify your email address and activate your account.
Enter Invitation code “714403” to get a 50% discount for the first month.
Click “I agree with” Terms of Service.
Then come up with an account name (remember that you won’t be able to change). Don’t use other characters except letters and digits (4 — 30 characters).
Come up with a password (10 — 30 characters) and confirm it.
Then you need to bind two-factor authentication (2FA). We strongly recommend using Google Authenticator instead of SMS-confirmation to secure your account.
Download Google Authenticator. Verification codes are used for withdrawal and account security settings.
Scan QR code with Google Authenticator or enter the private key. Back up the 16-digit Secret Key on the screen. Please keep it properly in case of the necessity of reset when your phone is changed or lost.
Fill in the box with the 6-digit GA code generated and click “Next” to complete the binding.
How to start mining with ViaBTC
Ensure you have compatible hardware for the chosen coin. Check the profit ranking, where you’ll find information such as hashrate, power, and 24-hour profit for different equipment models sorted by coins.
Choose an algorithm. The platform supports self-configurable PPS+, PPLNS, and SOLO for all coins (some coins only support PPLNS and SOLO).
Connect to LAN. Connect your computer to the LAN where the ASIC is located. Get the IP. Log into the hardware and background via your computer browser.
Configuration.
Configure the software using the address, which is shown in the example:

It’s allowed to use only one port (for ex. :3333) but we strongly recommend setting multiple ports for greater stability. Fill in the Stratum URL of your spare pool in Pool 3 URL.
Then you need to create a worker.
To configure a Worker fill in the field “Worker”. Worker = Account Name. WorkerID should consist of numbers and lowercase letters no longer than 64 characters. Configure a password (optional).
View Hashrate. Monitor Mining & View Earnings
Save your configurations. The ASIC will be automatically added to Workers in about 1 minute, and you will see the hashrate and earnings of it in the Dashboard and Earnings respectively. You may check the details there. The pool supports real-time hashrate monitoring, hashrate alerts, miner group management, and observer functionality. It is secure, stable, and transparent.
Withdraw your earnings
There are four withdrawal methods: Auto Withdraw, Normal Transfer, Inter-user Transfer, and Transfer to CoinEx.
ViaBTC Fees
Payment Methods
ViaBTC offers a transparent fee structure with three calculation protocols: PPS+, PPLNS, and SOLO. The PPS+ method is set by default, but users can change their preferred method once per day in the “Mining Settings” section.
PPS+ (Payment Per Share Plus)
PPS+ is widely considered the most reliable and profitable mechanism. When using PPS+, miners know exactly how much they will earn, as ViaBTC assumes the risk of bad luck and not finding blocks.
Unlike standard PPS, PPS+ also includes transaction fee rewards. Miners receive stable income proportional to their hashrate plus full payment for their contributions. This comprehensive coverage results in a higher commission compared to other methods.
Standard PPS+ fee: 4% for all coins
For large clients with more than 1 petahash (1000 TH/s) hashrate, ViaBTC offers a partnership program with VIP terms. Contact a manager to apply for customized rates.
PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares)
Income with PPLNS depends on the number of valid shares submitted before a block was found during a specific time period. Rewards are distributed among all participating users proportionally to their share contribution before the block discovery.
This method shares the risk of not finding blocks among all participants. While miners can achieve high profits when multiple blocks are found daily, earnings can be zero on days when no blocks are discovered.
Although the difference evens out over long-term mining, short-term mining shows significant daily income fluctuations, resulting in lower fees compared to PPS+.
PPLNS fee: 2% for all coins
SOLO Mining
SOLO mining distributes all block rewards exclusively to the miner who found the block, but the miner also assumes all the risk. Other pool participants do not share in the profit distribution.
This method can take months before hardware successfully finds a block, which is why ViaBTC charges only a minimal fee for pool operation and maintenance.

Minimum Payout Threshold
ViaBTC sets minimum payout thresholds for each supported cryptocurrency to ensure efficient transaction processing. These thresholds vary by coin and are designed to balance user convenience with network efficiency. For major cryptocurrencies, typical minimums include 0.001 BTC for Bitcoin, 0.01 BCH for Bitcoin Cash, and 1000 XEC for eCash.
